Our Social Subcommittee works for us!
Following the success of the Wildlife Garden Walk last year we have arranged another garden visit. Join us for a guided tour of Kathy Brown’s four and a half acre garden in Stevington.
We will meet in the car park at The Manor House, Church Road, Stevington, Near Bedford, MK43 7QB at 2.00 pm when Kathy is going to give a short talk on the literary landscape of The Pilgrim Progress. We will then set off on a 5 mile walk returning at 4.00 pm. There will then be a 45 minute guided tour of the garden followed by tea and homemade cake on the lawn or in the Conservatory if the weather is inclement. The cakes are made with flowers from the garden. There will also be the opportunity to purchase cake recipe cards, William Morris china mugs, and books written by Kathy Brown including Edible Flower Garden £7. There are no credit card facilities so bring some cash for your purchases. The cost of the tour and refreshments is £10 per person.
If you would like to join us for this event please email Sally Cannon and Angela Marchant and pay £10 per person by BACS by the deadline date of Saturday 4th August.
